What does Cowrie actually do?
We provide FX liquidity, cross-border settlement and stablecoin on- and off-ramp services to businesses moving value into and out of Nigeria and Ghana, alongside remittance delivery and telecoms value-added services. Each line is described in detail on our solutions page.
Do you work with individuals or only businesses?
Our FX liquidity, settlement and stablecoin services are built for businesses and institutions — corporates, payment companies, exchanges and treasury teams. Individuals are served through our remittance partners rather than directly from the desk.
How long does onboarding take?
It depends entirely on how quickly the know-your-business documentation arrives and what the screening returns. We will not commit to a date we cannot keep, but we will tell you where a file stands rather than leaving you to guess. The three onboarding stages are set out on the solutions page.
How can we partner with Cowrie?

Which currencies and corridors do you cover?
We handle NGN, USD, GBP, EUR, GHS, USDT and USDC, across Nigeria, Ghana, the United Kingdom, the United States, the European Union and China. If your corridor is not on that list, ask anyway — the answer is sometimes yes, and when it is no we will say so directly.
